ABOUT & LOCATION
Hello, I'm Ryo Uchiyama! (内山涼)
I enjoy surfing and building my own house.
THE GUEST HOUSE
Since 2003, I have been living in the small city of Asahi in Chiba prefecture, Japan.
At that time, I started surfing and making my own two-storey house with shipping containers and wood. Going DIY offers lots of freedom. My house continues to change through the years!
My place is now also a great, laid-back accommodation for guests from around the world. There is a wood-burning stove, lots of comfortable free space and everything you need.
My cosy self-built house is a 5-min walk from the Iioka surf point and beach, where you can surf the Pacific Ocean.
Surfers, solo travelers, couples and nature-lovers are very welcome. Let's enjoy!
