SURFING

 

The 60km-long Kujūkuri beach is a popular surfing destination in Chiba. My house is located 5 mins by foot from my local surf point and beach, Iioka – which is part of Kujūkuri. I bring most of my guests surfing because I love surfing!

  • ¥3,000 or US$30: Surf guiding and driving to other beaches and surf points, 1 day​

  • Cycle the coastline, bicycles available to borrow for free
     

  • Enjoy nearby Japanese hot spring, 5 mins away by foot (¥1,200 or US$12 for entry)
     

  • Visit organic vegetable farms and rice terraces (¥5,000 or US$50 for day-trip via car)
     

  • Have a barbecue or cookout! We can go to the supermarkets nearby to grab and share ingredients

  • Woodworking and creating photo frames with a distressed style; I've enjoyed woodworking for more than 15 years

  • Surf shooting/from the beach​(¥20,000) /from in the water(¥30,000) and making art with hand made wood frame​(¥20,000)
